Useful Tips for Essential oils



Aromatherapy uses the scents of essential oils derived from herbs and plants. Certain Scents are used to alleviate physical, emotional and mental problems. It can be viewed as a natural alternative to traditional medical treatments.

Essential Oils can be used in many ways:
  • Use in the bath to invigorate or relax.
  • Use as a hot or cold compress
  • Use in an oil burner or pot pouri etc
  • Use for massage mixed with a base oil

Caution

Essential Oils are highly concentrated essences and can be harmful if used improperly.

If you have any doubts or concerns, consult a qualified aromatherapist. If you have any underlying medical conditions, talk to your doctor before commencing aromatherapy treatment. The small list below is:

Properly stored oils can maintain their quality for years. Citrus oils are less stable and should not be stored longer than six months after opening.
